Alex McCartney (Yorktown), Rick Linton (Muncie Central), Ball State bound Billy Wellman (Jay County), Wabash committed Jacob Oconner (Cowan), Ball Stater Kirby Campbell (Cowan), Garrett Cooper (Cowan), and Brandon Estep (Wapahani) all hit home runs on Monday in the Muncie area. I have seen most of these kids swing the bat and I will tell you that the wind may have played a factor on Monday in some parks, but for the most part, you will see these guys leading the way in the offensive power categories. Add some names to this list like Brad Benbow (Delta), Chandler Sidwell (Anderson Highland), Justin Oconner (Cowan), Matthew Ring (Yorktown), Greg Heban (Delta), Zach Selvey (Delta), Nolan Early (Anderson), Davey Richards (Elwood) and Cody Campbell (Cowan) and you can see that there is no power outage in the Muncie/surrounding area this year.
