Ryan Dineen, a left-handed hitting middle infielder from Andrean High School, has verbally committed to Eastern Illinois University. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Dineen is one of the state’s best defensive infielders and was a big reason why Andrean finished 31-2 last spring.
As a junior, Dineen batted .378 with a .456 on-base percentage and combined with Adam Norton to comprise one of the state’s best defensive infields. This summer Dineen continued to swing a hot bat at several events and playing for his travel team, the Hammond Chiefs. Click Here to see Dineen in action
