Kirby Campbell, Cowan High's standout outfielder, has committed to play at Ball State University.  The 5 foot 9, 165-pound Campbell posted a .516 batting average with 10 home runs and 40 rbi's for Cowan in 2008.  The speedy outfielder performed well all summer long while playing for the Indiana Bulls. 

Cowan returns eight starters off last year state finals team.  Look for Campbell to lead the offense to another exciting spring season. 

Campbell joins Yorktown High's RHP Wes Winkle as part of the Ball State recruiting class.
