It’s still early, but judging from what we’ve seen so far from the Class of 2012, the sophomores are a talented group of prospects. We’ve compiled the top 35 player rankings from the Class of 2012, led by Highland LHP Jordan Minch (right).At 6-foot-3, 165 pounds, Minch has shown the promise of being one of the top left-handed prospects in the Midwest. Over the summer his fastball has climbed as high as 87 mph, and regularly sits between 84-86 mph. Minch isn’t the only high profile prospect in the Class of 2012. Rounding out the top five prospects are: Zionsville MIF Drew Small, Cathedral RHP Nick McCarty, Brownsburg RHP/INF Issac Sampen and Chesterton RHP Jacob Post.
