Behind some big bats and two strong top on the rotation arms, East Noble is off to an 11-8 start and are poised to make waves come tournament time.
Offensively, the Knights are being led by SS David Patton and OF Ryan Risedorph. In 60 at-bats, Patton is batting .433 with nine doubles, a triple, two homeruns, and 10 RBIs. He’s also stolen seven bases and has scored 24 runs. Risedorph, through 57 at-bats, is hitting .404 with six homeruns and 22 RBIs.
But Patton and Risedorph are by no means the only firepower the Knight offense brings to the table. East Noble has also seen contributions from IF Mike Polly (.667 BA in 21 at-bats) and 2B Brant Detter (.339 BA with six stolen bases and 12 runs scored).
As a team the Knights are hitting .323—.315 with runners in scoring position. They’ve stolen 85% of their base stealing attempts and have scored 121 runs, good enough for a +22 run differential.
On the hill, the Knights have been led by Kelby Probst who is 3-2 on the year with a 1.59 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 39 innings of work. He’s followed by Parker Crosby who is 4-3 on the year with a 3.98 ERA and 40 strikeouts over 38 innings.
